I was in french class this morning and someone had put up a flyer for the student play "Midsummer Night's Dream" up on my professor's desk. It said, "Shakespeare with a strap-on!" In the middle of the lecture, he sees it and says, "Qu'est-ce que c'est 'strap-on'?" We all (all 7 of us)start laughing. He looks around and asks, "C'est sexuel?" We continue to giggle and he continues, "Une accessoire?" We just nodded.

Let's say you're thinking about taking a bike ride tomorrow, but there may be a possibilty of rain. Here's your logical possibility. There are four: You take a bike ride and it rains, You don't take a bike ride and it rains, You take a bike ride and it doesn't rain, You don't take a bike ride and it doesn't rain. What should you do? Let's use DECISION THEORY!!! What do you value? Do you care if it rains? Do you have a bike? Will you check the weather?

As you can see, this class just makes me hold my breath with anticipation. WILL I TAKE A BIKE RIDE!?!?

And this all supposedly relates to Pascal's philosophy on religion.
